An Explosive Start
Marvel’s Wolverine opens the show with an in-depth look at the game, showing off the kind of combat you’d expect from Logan; brutal and bloody. We’ll get to fight alongside the likes of Jean Grey to rescue kidnapped Mutants and take down the cybernetic Reavers.

MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls introduced three new characters to the roster: Magneto, Green Goblin and Carnage. When they pair with Doctor Doom they become the Knights of Doom.
A standalone game titled Bancho the Chef was announced featuring the chef fans know and love from Dave the Diver. This was an unexpected treat, and we get to learn about Bancho’s past, how he trained to become a chef, all the while making food for customers.
September is Looking Packed
We got another look at Control Resonant and its paranormal world with its streets infested with monstrous beings.
Dune Awakening is an open-world survival game, with an all new single-player mode coming when the console version arrives on PlayStation in September, alongside other improvements.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword arrives in a few months and Capcom shared a look at the sword-fighting adventure you will embark on! The demo is available now on PS5 and it’ll give you an idea of how the gameplay works.
Silent Hill: Townfall finally got a release date of 24th September. The creepy atmosphere of Silent Hill remains, as we saw Simon being stalked by a monster in the shadows and the introduction of a new character, Zoe.
Much Loved Games Make a Return
Ubisoft gave us a look at Rayman Legends Retold, a full 3D remake of the incredible co-op platformer. This time the game has full voice acting, new stages, additional music to its amazing soundtrack and more!
Until Dawn 2 was announced from developer Firesprite. I know fans of the original will be happy we’ll get to return to that universe where every choice you make matters, and as the games tagline says, everyone can live, and everyone can die.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis releases 12th February, 2027 and Lara Croft was looking as badass as ever plundering tombs, escaping dinosaurs and effortlessly dodging deadly traps.
Closing off the show, the biggest surprise: God of War Laufey, from Santa Monica Studio, who shared a 20 minute video of the beginning of the game. We play as warrior Faye, Kratos’s wife and Atreus’s Mother. After her cremation, she is sent to Everywhen, the afterlife of the gods. She befriends a sword and a cube (yes… a cube) to defend herself from the brutal Begtse, the Mongolian god of war. The developers confirmed this game runs parallel to God of War (2018) and Ragnarök, and I’m looking forward to all the fan theories that will be conjured up leading to the games release.
